# Phase 1 Report - Wedding Setup, Assets, and Static Reels

Date: 2026-07-15
Scope: Prompt 2 / Phase 1 only.

## Summary

Implemented a Phase 1 skeleton over the existing spec-only package. This includes:

- Admin authentication foundation.
- Wedding CRUD controller/service skeleton.
- Asset upload controller/service with role validation, content-based image validation, and safe re-encoding path.
- Bootstrap endpoint returning wedding theme, symbols, reel strips, and state version.
- Phase 1 SQL migration and demo wedding seed fixture.
- Shared core/platform/protocol/ui package skeletons.
- Responsive PWA shell with three static reels.
- Deterministic demo animation only; no authoritative spin or win logic implemented.
- Installable PWA manifest and service worker.
- Chrome MV3 wrapper skeleton with local-only CSP and shared platform adapter usage.
- Admin setup wizard with validation messages and asset previews.
- Dependency-free Phase 1 test runner.

## Deferred Or Blocked

- PHP syntax checks and PHPUnit were not run because `php` is not installed in this environment.
- Composer dependencies were not installed; no network/dependency installation was attempted.
- This is a Phase 1 skeleton, not production-ready persistence. The file-backed development store in `server/src/Support/FileDatabase.php` is a local scaffold until the Phase 0/DB migration tooling is fully installed.
- Content validation and re-encoding are represented in `AssetService`, but full image variant generation and production hardening belong to Phase 4.
- The web demo animation is deterministic and intentionally does not implement server-authoritative outcomes, wins, entitlements, or replacements.
- The extension wrapper is a source skeleton; a real MV3 packaged build step should be completed in the monorepo bootstrap/build phase.

## Recommended Next Step

Phase 0 has since been retrofitted. Before implementing Prompt 3 / Phase 2, harden the remaining environment baseline:

1. Install or containerize PHP 8.3 checks.
2. Add real Composer and pnpm lockfiles.
3. Install Composer/pnpm dependencies and generate lockfiles when network access is available.
4. Decide whether to keep the dependency-light skeleton or convert immediately to Slim 4, Phinx, PHPUnit, Vite, and Vitest.
5. Then proceed to Phase 2 authoritative spin engine.
